Ophthalmos Ltd is the owner, manufacturer and distributor of the Optyse™ lens free ophthalmoscope. Based in Ickleton, near Cambridge, the firm was established in 2004 to commercialise the innovative and patented technology developed by Roger Armour, a retired surgeon.

Ophthalmos Ltd is certified to ISO 13485:2003 (LRQA) and is registered in England and Wales (04299001).
